Founder / Owner

Coach Scott is the founder and president of MAS Basketball Training, and has been coaching and playing basketball for over 26 years. He has a passion for coaching children and teaching them the fundamentals of the game. After graduating from high school in Maryland, Coach Scott moved to New Jersey and played collegiate basketball for Rider University (Division I) as well as ran the basketball program for the Hopewell YMCA (11 years).

Scott has been a resident of Washington for 6 years and in that time he has held clinics at the local parks and Franklin Community Center in Franklin Township. Now with the new location, MAS can bring year round basketball training for the town and surrounding areas. Hard work is what helped coach Scott make it this far in life and he has a passion to instill this same drive into the next generation of ballers.

Besides running clinics for kids and keeping up with his passion for basketball, Coach Scott is also an accomplished graphic designer, having worked for the New York Jets, and most recently starting a graphic design consulting firm. When he’s not coaching or working you’ll find Coach Scott enjoying his free time with his wife and three kids.
